CONFIRMATION

  • A signed Catering Service Agreement, along with the payment stipulated by the payment terms, is required to confirm any event totalling over $250,000 JMD or equivalent in USD. For events under $250,000 JMD or equivalent in USD, an Email Confirmation along with the payment stipulated by the payment terms is all that will be required for confirmation.
  • For all orders (i.e., Drop Off Only or Pick Up Only Catering), Email Confirmation or the submission of an order through our Online Ordering, along with full payment, is all that is needed for confirmation.

PAYMENT

  • Payment can be made Online via the link provided or on our payment page at www.ghcaterers.com/payment, as well as via Cash, Manager’s Cheque made payable to Great House Caterers Limited, Bank Transfer or Deposit.
  • For quotations with “Full Payment – 3 Days Prior” as the payment term, full payment is needed to confirm your event or order with us, at least 3 working days prior to your events or order, unless otherwise stated in writing by Great House Caterers Limited.
  • If “25% Retainer” is the payment term, then a 25% non-refundable payment on the total bill is needed to confirm your event or order with us, with a 50% payment needed 3 months prior to the event and the remaining balance 1 month prior to the event, unless otherwise stated in writing by Great House Caterers Limited.
  • For our “50% Deposit” payment term, a 50% payment on the total bill is needed to confirm your event or order with us, at least 3 working days prior to your event or order, with the balance due on the day of the event or order, unless otherwise stated in writing by Great House Caterers Limited.
  • For “7 Days”, “15 Days” and “30 Days” payment terms, the due date is calculated from the date of the invoice and not the date of the event or order.

CANCELLATION

  • If an event or order totalling over $250,000 JMD or equivalent in USD is cancelled within 7 days prior to the event or order, Great House Caterers Limited reserves the right to 50% of the total Food & Beverage cost, for liquidated damages, unless otherwise stated in our Catering Service Agreement.
  • If an event and order totalling under $250,000 JMD or equivalent in USD is cancelled within 3 days prior to the event or order, Great House Caterers Limited reserves the right to 50% of the total Food & Beverage cost, for liquidated damages.

LIABILITY

  • Great House Caterers Limited is only liable for damage caused by its employees and independent contractors. We are not liable for the failure of service due to circumstances beyond our control nor are we liable for fees, penalties or fines imposed by event vendors based on the actions of our clients and their guests.

PRICING

  • Great House Caterers reserves the right to adjust pricing for any requests to alter or in any way change the invoice after confirmation has been made.
  • Should there be a local shortage or substantial price increase in any item needed to carry out our services, Great House Caterers reserves the right to offer a sufficient substitute and or price increase, to be approved by the client.
